Jennifer Gammons-Mujica, Executive Administrator
Jennifer Gammons-Mujica has been working with nonprofit organizations since 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio. Her studies during and after college included creative writing workshops, a study abroad program in Shakespearean Histories at Trinity College, University of Oxford (England) and grant writing workshops.
Jennifer began a freelance writing career after college while pursuing a new interest – social justice. In 1998 Jennifer moved to the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona as a Mercy Corps/Americorps volunteer to work as a writer and fundraiser for a school that provided K-12 education for Native American children. She gained a motivating life principal during her two years working with the Navajo people – a caring community can help people overcome any challenge and achieve personal success.
Since 1998 Ms. Mujica has worked as the Program Representative for the Tang Foundation in Las Vegas, volunteered as President and Co-Founder of two chapters of the M.O.M.S. Club (Moms Offering Moms Support) and also served as the Program Development Consultant for the Nevada Association of Nonprofit Organizations from 2006-2007.
Jennifer Mujica has been the Executive Administrator of Los Vaqueros Las Vegas since 2006. She finds that the members of Los Vaqueros exemplify her belief that a group of caring individuals can truly make a difference in their community. Ms. Mujica continues her hobby in creative writing while enjoying Las Vegas life, especially hiking, traveling and dining out with her husband, MSgt. Gorge Mujica, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force, and their two daughters, Sophia and Juliana.
