Michael P. Carroll

Michael P. Carroll, Secretary & Past President (2007 – 2009)

Mike Carroll was the President of Los Vaqueros from 2007 – 2009.  Carroll led Los Vaqueros to great success in serving at risk students in Las Vegas (through our programs at Lowman Elementary School) as well as the families of deployed military. Whether enjoying Las Vegas sports teams, watching his daughter sing, dance and act, spending time on Lake Mead with his son, supporting a charity or managing a substantial real estate/ construction project, Carroll is a man of many interests who brings thoughtful leadership to every project in which he involves himself.

Mike Carroll  is proud of the Los Vaqueros mission, explaining, “Los Vaqueros continues to help those who are ‘our future’.  As a group, we can take pride in continuing to increase our charitable footprint despite our Valley’s challenging economic conditions.”

Carroll’s 25 year career in commercial construction and real estate development spans several areas of experience – asset and marketing management, lease management, large scale property rehabilitation projects, project development, strategic planning and business development.  Carroll is a native of California where he began his career in commercial real estate development.  Carroll began working in Las Vegas as a Project Manager for Harsch Investment Company.  Since then, he has worked for Koll Development Company as the Senior Development Manager, served for close to five years as Vice President of Development for Jackson-Shaw Company, held the position of Director of Business Development/General Manager for over three years while with LM Construction Company, and has been with Gray ICE Builders for the past 2.5 years as their Las Vegas representative.

Carroll has resided in Las Vegas for the past fifteen years with his wife, Laura, and their two children.    Mike serves on an advisory board at the City of North Las Vegas, coached girls soccer for several years and has served in various positions with Los Vaqueros Las Vegas since 2006. One of his most cherished accomplishments was being awarded the 2010 Bank of America Local Heroes Award for the many projects that he and his fellow Vaqueros completed while improving the lives of many “in need “ Las Vegans.
